FUNCTIONS

• To cover the stock delivery and cash payment obligations arising from stock transactions of the intermediary institutions and the banks for which a liquidation or bankruptcy decision is made
• To carry out administrative liquidation operations for intermadiary institutions.

PROTECTION SCOPES - When

• Compensation is provided only in case of misappropriation.
• No compensation for value losses.
• No compensation for bankrupt public companies.

PROTECTION IS PROVIDED only when

• An administrative liquidation decision is made for an intermediary institution by CMB.
• A bankruptcy decision is made for an intermediary institution by the court.
• A banks licience is withdrawn by the relevant authority.

Protection Scope -EXCLUSIONS

• Shareholders,
• Member of board of directors,
• Member of board of auditors,
• Personnel authorized to sign,
• Spouses, bloood relatives and relatives by marriage including third degree of above mentioned, of the relevant intermediary institution are not compensated.
